  Gusto's is probably the best place in the Monterey peninsula to get Italian food. It was recommended to me by a friend, who is from Italy. So I went and tried it out. I had the lasagna, and others with me ordered the mushroom ravioli, spaghetti, and fried calamari. The lasagna was delicious, and everyone else enjoyed their food too. Denis, the owner, came by to personally check on everything, which was a nice touch. The restaurant is very clean, plenty of parking, and you can always order ahead for take out. I felt the price was high for the portions sizes. But, everything seemed fresh, no canned food here. I will definitely be back to try other items from the menu in the future.

  The best pizza that I've had outside Italy. I spend a lot of time in Italy and really appreciate authentic Italian pizza. Gusto's is own and run by Italians and shows in the high quality and authentic taste of their pizzas.
